Flipkart Warehouse Freshers Jobs — No Experience Needed

This is the most common question we get: "I have never worked in a warehouse. Can I still apply?" The answer is a clear yes.

Flipkart warehouses hire hundreds of freshers every month. They have a structured training program designed for people who have never stepped inside a warehouse. You don't need to know anything about scanning systems, inventory management, or packing techniques. They teach you everything.

Here's what matters more than experience:

• Willingness to learn — Are you ready to follow instructions?
• Physical fitness — Can you stand and walk for 8 hours?
• Regular attendance — Will you show up every day?
• Honesty — Are you truthful about your documents and background?

If you have these four things, you are ready. Experience is not required. In fact, some supervisors prefer freshers because they don't have bad habits from previous jobs. They teach you their way from day one.

The requirements are minimal. Here's what you need:

• Age: 18 to 45 years old
• Education: Minimum 10th pass (10th standard completed)
• Fitness: Physically fit — able to stand, walk, lift 10-15 kg
• Documents: Aadhaar card, 10th marks card, PAN card, bank account
• Location: Currently in Bangalore or willing to relocate

Some specific roles might have additional requirements. For example, data entry operator roles may ask for basic computer knowledge. But the core warehouse associate roles (picker, packer, loader) have no such requirements.

This is important. Flipkart does not pay freshers less than experienced workers. The salary for a warehouse associate is fixed for the role, not based on your experience.

Your salary as a fresher is the same ₹18,000 to ₹22,000 per month that experienced workers earn. Here's the breakdown:

Plus, you get free cab facility (worth ₹3,000-₹4,000 per month), PF contributions (another ₹3,000+ per month from employer), and ESIC health coverage. So the total compensation package is much higher than just the take-home salary.

Here are the roles freshers typically get hired for at Flipkart warehouses:

Picker

You walk through the warehouse aisles with a handheld scanner. The scanner tells you which items to pick and from which shelf. You pick the item, scan it, and put it in a bin. That's it. No thinking required — just follow the scanner instructions. Most freshers start as pickers.

Packer

Items that have been picked come to your station. You pack them into boxes according to the packing guidelines. Different items need different packing — fragile items need bubble wrap, clothes go in polybags, electronics need extra padding. The training covers all of this.

Loader / Unloader

This is the most physical role. You load and unload items from trucks. If you are strong and don't mind heavy lifting, this role pays well because overtime is almost always available. Loaders are in high demand during sale seasons.

Scanner / Sorter

Incoming items need to be scanned and sorted into the right bins. This role involves less lifting and more walking. You use a scanner to read barcodes and place items in the correct location. It's easy to learn and less tiring than picking or loading.

Data Entry Operator (DEO)

If you have basic computer skills, you can work as a DEO. You enter data into the system, update inventory records, and generate reports. This is a desk job within the warehouse. Fewer freshers get this role because basic computer knowledge is needed, but it is a good option if you know how to type.

The training program for freshers lasts 2-3 days and is fully paid. Here is the training schedule:

• Day 1 — Classroom session: Safety rules, company policies, warehouse layout, basic terminology. You watch videos and get a handbook
• Day 2 — Hands-on training: You go to the warehouse floor. A trainer shows you how to use the scanner, how to pick items, how to pack. You practice under supervision
• Day 3 — Shadowing: You work alongside an experienced associate. They guide you as you do the actual work. By the end of day 3, you should be comfortable working independently

During training, you are paid your full salary. No deduction for training days. You also get free meals during training.

If you don't catch on quickly, don't worry. Most facilities have a "buddy system" where an experienced worker is assigned to help you for the first week. You can ask them any question without hesitation.
