Overtime is where you can really bump up your earnings. If the warehouse is busy, they'll ask if anyone wants to stay extra hours. The standard overtime rate at Flipkart warehouses is ₹150 per hour. During festival seasons like Diwali, Navratri, and big sale events, overtime becomes almost guaranteed. Some guys report earning ₹4,000 to ₹5,000 extra just from overtime during peak months.

The food allowance is paid through the Myntra cafeteria. You get a meal card that works at the in-house canteen. The food isn't great, but it's free. If you're used to spending ₹100-₹150 on lunch, this saves you real money.

Overall, Myntra and Flipkart warehouse salaries end up in the same ballpark. ₹18,000 to ₹22,000 per month depending on shift, overtime, and bonuses.

Delivery riders have a completely different pay structure. There's no fixed monthly salary. Instead, you get paid per order, and the more orders you deliver, the more you earn. This is both the best and worst thing about the job.

The per-order payment varies based on a few factors. Distance matters. A delivery that's 2 km away pays less than one that's 8 km away. Package type matters too. Heavy items or items that need special handling pay more. Peak hours pay more than slow hours.

On a typical day, a rider might do 20-30 deliveries. If the average per-order pay is ₹25, that's ₹500-₹750 per day. Over 26 working days, that's ₹13,000-₹19,500 just from base per-order payments.

But the incentives are where the real money is. Weekly incentives up to ₹5,000 are given for hitting delivery targets. If you do 150+ deliveries in a week, you get a bonus. Monthly bonuses up to ₹10,000 are for sustained performance over the month.

The ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 range sounds huge, and it is. The lower end is for someone doing basic hours and not pushing for incentives. The higher end is for someone treating this like a serious job, working peak hours, taking overtime, and hitting every incentive target.

One rider at the Anjaneya FC told me he consistently earns around ₹50,000-₹55,000. He works 10 hours a day, six days a week, and always goes for the weekly incentive targets. "It's not easy money," he said. "You're on the road all day. But if you're willing to put in the hours, the pay is there."

Delivery riders also need to factor in their own costs though. Fuel, phone data, and bike maintenance come out of their pocket. That probably eats ₹3,000-₹5,000 per month depending on how much you ride.

Blinkit (formerly Grofers) is the quick commerce player. Their store associates handle picking, packing, and sometimes delivering orders. The pay is more structured compared to delivery roles.

The CTC includes everything — basic salary, HRA, special allowances, employer PF contribution, and any other benefits. Your actual take home will be less after deductions.

Based on what Blinkit store associates have shared, the take home comes to around ₹16,000-₹18,000 after PF and other deductions. That's actually decent for a store-based role.

Blinkit stores are usually smaller than Flipkart warehouses. You're working in a store format, picking orders from shelves, and getting them ready for delivery riders. The pace is fast because customers expect 10-15 minute delivery times.

The work is different from a warehouse. Instead of walking miles in a massive FC, you're in a smaller space but constantly moving. Orders come in every few minutes and you need to grab items quickly.

Blinkit also offers performance bonuses that aren't included in the CTC. Store associates who maintain high accuracy and speed can earn ₹1,000-₹2,000 extra per month.

Overtime is the simplest way to increase your earnings. The math is straightforward: ₹150 per hour for every extra hour you work.

Most FCs allow 1-3 hours of overtime per day during normal periods. During peak seasons like Diwali sales, Big Billion Days, or festive periods, overtime can go up to 4-5 hours per day.

Here's something important: overtime is voluntary. They won't force you to stay. But during peak periods, most associates stay because the extra money is significant. If you do just 2 hours of overtime every day, that's ₹7,800 extra per month. Added to your base take home, you're looking at ₹22,000+ per month.

The overtime rate is fixed at ₹150 per hour for all warehouse roles. This is per company policy and doesn't change based on your position or tenure. Whether you joined yesterday or you've been there for 3 years, overtime pays the same.

One thing to know: overtime is typically offered after your regular shift ends. If your shift is 8 AM to 4 PM, and they need extra hands, they'll ask around 3:30 PM if anyone wants to stay. You can say no. Nobody will judge you. But most people say yes.

Flipkart warehouses usually have about 10-12 declared holidays per year. These include national holidays like Republic Day, Independence Day, and Gandhi Jayanti, plus some festival days.

If you work on a declared holiday, you get paid double. That's the standard rule. So if your daily wage is around ₹570 (₹14,280 divided by 25 working days), working on a holiday earns you ₹1,140 for that day.

If you don't work on a holiday, you still get your regular pay. You just don't get the double rate. So holidays are basically guaranteed paid days off unless the warehouse decides to operate.

During major sale events, warehouses sometimes operate on holidays. This is when you can earn double pay. Some associates plan their month around these holidays to maximize earnings.

There's also the concept of weekly off. Most FCs give one day off per week, usually rotating. If you work on your weekly off day, you get extra pay. The exact amount varies by facility, but it's generally 1.5x to 2x your daily rate.

Let's put all the numbers side by side so you can compare easily.

The numbers tell an interesting story. Warehouse jobs at Flipkart and Myntra are almost identical in total earnings. The difference is Myntra gives food allowance while Flipkart has a slightly higher base take home.

Delivery riders can earn significantly more than warehouse staff, but it's not guaranteed. The ₹30,000-₹50,000 range is huge. Short answer: probably not. If your annual income is below ₹3,00,000 (for the new tax regime), you don't need to pay any income tax. Most warehouse associates earning ₹14,000-₹22,000 per month will have annual income between ₹1,68,000 and ₹2,64,000.

Even if you add overtime and bonuses, you're unlikely to cross ₹3,00,000 in a year. So for most warehouse and delivery workers, income tax isn't a concern.

However, if you're a delivery rider earning consistently above ₹40,000 per month, you might want to look into tax implications. At ₹40,000 per month, your annual income is ₹4,50,000, which puts you in the taxable bracket. But after standard deductions and PF, you might still end up below the threshold.

One practical tip: keep your offer letter and salary slips safe. If you ever need to file taxes or apply for a loan, these documents will be useful.

When you first join, there's usually a training period of 7-15 days. During training, you get paid a reduced amount. Most facilities pay around 75% of your regular salary during training.

So if your regular take home is ₹14,280, during training you'd get around ₹10,710. Training is typically 1-2 weeks, so this isn't a huge hit to your earnings. But it's good to know beforehand.

Training includes learning how to use the scanning systems, understanding warehouse layouts, safety procedures, and the pick-pack-ship process. It's paid training, so you're earning while learning.

Most Flipkart and Myntra facilities pay on the last working day of the month. Some facilities pay on the 1st of the following month. The exact date varies by location.

Salary is credited directly to your bank account. You'll need to provide your bank details during joining. Most people use their existing savings account. If you don't have one, you'll need to open one before your joining date.

For delivery riders, payment cycles might be different. Some get paid weekly, others monthly. This depends on whether you're directly employed or through a contractor. Ask during your interview.
