Scanner: Handle barcode reading at receiving docks, sorting areas, and dispatch zones. Every scan logs into the system to keep inventory accurate. Detail-oriented work for people who like staying in one area.
Mover: Transport goods between zones, load/unload pallets, move bins from storage to packing. Physical work — lifting and pushing throughout the shift. Movers also assist when new stock arrives from suppliers.
You are paired with an experienced associate during your first few days. By the end of week one, most people settle into their rhythm.
The Hosakote warehouse follows a 3+1 model: work three days, get one day off. This cycle repeats through the month. You work 22 to 23 days per month with 7 to 8 off days. Unlike the standard 6-days-on, 1-day-off schedule, this gives you more frequent breaks. Instead of grinding six straight days, you get a breather every fourth day. It helps with fatigue and keeps you fresher.
Your off days rotate based on the warehouse schedule. You know them a week or two in advance so you can plan personal tasks.
